Good Dog, Good Read.

Not only is Mark Ulriksen the subject of an interview in this week’s issue of Good Dog, but his whimsical illustrations also grace the cover and content pages.  A major contributor to national magazines to her credit, Melanie D.G. Kaplan, proposed and conducted the interview.  See for yourself.

Eric Drooker at the Beat Museum, San Francisco. September 7th at 7:30 PM

Come to the event and say hi.  Have questions for Eric?   Ask him yourself.  I will make the intros.  – Ming

Eric’s slide presentation is a favorite event at colleges, universities, and cultural centers. Available to lecture on all aspects of his work, he will demonstrate how his art functions in various popular mediums. As he projects hundreds of magical images, Drooker will explore his early years as a street artist in New York City, and trace the evolution of his graphic novels into animated films—and from his cover paintings for The New Yorker, to his slow infiltration of the mainstream. Accompanied by the artist on a variety of musical instruments
